Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological disease that usually presents in young adults, whose origin is unknown. It is the second leading cause of disability following car accidents. Usually people with MS do not complain of sleep disorders, only do so when they are asked. Sleep disorders in these patients are diagnosed below and can be up to three times more frequent than in the rest of the population. Some patients have more daytime sleepiness, increased sleep latency and nighttime awakenings. Objectives: Assess the condition of sleep in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) treated with interferon beta 1 using scales and questionnaires.
